Terms & Conditions – General Leisure

All services provided by North Cape Experience are offered to the customer under the following Terms & Conditions:

Booking

Bookings made through our online booking system are binding for both parties once the customer receives the booking confirmation by email.

Payment

Our rates are in Norwegian Kroner (NOK) and include applicable Norwegian taxes. Payment is made in NOK at the time of booking.

Cancellation by Customer

Cancellations must be sent via email to North Cape Experience and must be confirmed with a written cancellation confirmation before being considered valid.

Cancellation Terms

Single Activities
– Cancellations must be made at least 7 days prior to the activity. Cancellations made less than 7 days in advance will not be refunded.

Packages (including two or more services such as accommodation, activities, meals):
– Up to 21 days prior to arrival: No cancellation fee
– 20–8 days prior to arrival: 50% refund
– 7–0 days prior to arrival: No refund

Separate terms and conditions apply for group bookings (10 or more persons).

Cancellation by Supplier

Cancellations made by North Cape Experience may occur due to weather conditions or safety concerns. If possible, an alternative experience will be offered; acceptance is optional. If the cancelled experience is part of a package, a refund will apply only to the cancelled portion.

Quality and Safety

Customers must inform North Cape Experience of any special needs (e.g., health conditions) that could impact the quality or safety of the experience.

Delays or Necessary Changes to Itinerary

North Cape Experience AS is not responsible for accidents, damages, or delays caused by the guest arriving late to scheduled activities, accommodations, or services (including due to force majeure). We reserve the right to adjust itineraries due to extreme weather or force majeure events.

Force Majeure:
Except where otherwise specifically stated, North Cape Experience is not liable or obligated to offer compensation for “unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances” beyond our control that could not have been prevented despite all reasonable efforts.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all guests obtain travel insurance to cover unforeseen events outside the control of the travel operator (e.g., strikes, delays, weather disruptions, fires, delivery failures). North Cape Experience reserves the right to cancel all or parts of the arrangement under such circumstances but will strive to offer alternative solutions within the available resources and financial framework.

Participant Responsibility – Safety Instructions

Participants agree to follow all safety instructions and directives issued by North Cape Experience AS or its partners during activities. Participants confirm they do not suffer from any condition that may be affected by stress or extreme weather.

Complaints

If a customer perceives a deficiency in the arrangement, they must report it immediately to a North Cape Experience representative. If the issue remains unresolved and the customer wishes to file a formal complaint, a written statement must be submitted within 14 days after the trip.

Legal disputes are to be resolved under Norwegian law in a Norwegian court.

Alcohol & Smoking

It is not permitted to bring or consume alcohol not purchased from North Cape Experience. Smoking is only allowed in designated areas and is strictly prohibited indoors.
